VRL-1000-6C
Schlumpf’s VRL-1000-6C light-duty vertical roll center lift for hoist & crane service is specifically engineered as a low cost tool for lifting and maneuvering rolls with weights to 1,000 lbs (454 kg) while reducing the risk of costly operator injuries and fatigue.
Designed to hang from a standard hoist hook, the VRL-1000-6C can be used to lift rolls by the core for transportation. By grabbing the rolls by the core and without contacting the rolled material, the VRL-1000-6C’s design allows rolls to be handled without risk of material damage associated with “manhandling” heavy rolls.
The VRL-1000-6C has a built in “T” Handle gripping mechanism. The fail-safe gripper design holds securely at all times and can only be released by the operator. Once the load is supported on a flat surface, simply pull the “T” handle up to retract the grippers. Large ergonomic handles are incorporated in the unit’s design for positioning the hoisted roll or the empty lifter.
