Schlumpf’s DH-300 die
and die storage box handling system provides a safe and easy way for
operators to handle heavy and valuable dies without the risk of injury
or damage.
Designed to hang from a standard lifting ring,
DH-300 can be used with virtually any crane, hoist or portable handling
device, including Schlumpf ERH-300-P or ERH-1000-P roll handling
machine for removing dies from storage, installing them on the press,
or returning them to storage.
The die box is held securely
in the lifter by its molded handles. To load a box, simply pull the
security pin lower the lifter onto the top of the box, push the gripper
into the handle recess, then replace the security pin.
Dies
can be lifted to and from the press, or into or from the storage box
via their screw eyes using optional lanyards supplied by Schlumpf.
DH-300 handling systems are available for all standard die and storage box sizes.
