ESH-500-PEC
Schlumpf’s ESH-500-PEC portable electric shaft handling machine is a versatile tool for many shaft handling applications. Designed for portability, ease of use and flexibility, this 24 volt battery powered shaft handling machines make lifting, inserting, extracting and transporting heavy shafts, reel spools and tissue core plugs safe and easy.
The compact design can get into tight work areas and the high quality castors minimize effort for moving even heavy loads. Its convenient battery strength meter clearly shows when the sealed maintenance free batteries require charging. Spare battery packs can be supplied for continuous charging. When charging is needed, Just plug in the optional 115 VAC, fully automatic charger and full battery power is restored with minimal downtime and no chance of over charging.
The ESH-500-PEC can be equipped with a powered shaft clamping tooling and is customized specifically for each shaft for precise alignment with complex shaft journal ends*. The tooling is supplied with replaceable “V” blocks to quickly change tooling when handling multiple shafts with different end configurations. The integrated side pivot feature allows the tooling to swing freely when loading or unloading for easy alignment with the end of the shaft and helps prevent binding when inserting or extracting.
With its maneuverable compact design, customized clamp tooling options and lift rating to 500 lbs (227 kg), the ESH-500-PEC is a safe, cost effective and adaptable solution for many difficult lifting applications.
